美国卫生当局今天表示，进行大型研究时，从美国的杀菌牛奶中验出禽流感病毒，但应该不会对人类造成健康风险。

高病原性禽流感（HPAI）疫情蔓延全美乳牛群，并传出牛传人病例，有一人遭到感染，症状轻微。

尽管已有数以百万只家禽因H5N1高病原性禽流感遭到扑杀，染病的乳牛病情并不严重。

美国食品暨药物管理局（Food and Drug Administration, FDA）在声明中表示，进行全国调查期间，在“来自染病牛只、加工系统和货架上的牛奶”，发现病毒颗粒。

但这些样本是通过高度灵敏的病毒核酸序列鉴定（qPCR）。病毒本身就算因巴氏杀菌过程的加热而失活，病毒核酸序列鉴定也能测到病原体遗传物质的残留物。

FDA表示：“100多年来，巴氏杀菌法（pasteurization）为公众健康提供了良好的服务，即使生乳中验出病毒，巴氏杀菌法通常也能将病原体消除到不会对消费者健康构成风险的程度。”

科学家正在进一步研究阳性样本，包括向胚胎鸡蛋注射样本，然后观察是否有活性病毒复制。
